Requirements for University of Gujarat Jobs 2024:
Qualification:
- Assistant Professor: Candidates must possess a Ph.D. in Biotechnology, Fine Arts, or an equivalent qualification.
- Associate Professor: A doctorate in biochemistry or related disciplines with significant biochemical research experience are also encouraged to apply.
- Lecturer: You must have an MS or M.Phil degree in the relevant field or a BS degree with a First Division standing.
Experience:
- For Assistant Professor, 4-6 Years teaching or research experience from a university or Institution is required.
- For Associate Professor, Applicants should possess 5-10 Years of teaching or research experience with a strong record of academic achievement and practical expertise.
- For Lecturer, Having relevant experience would be beneficial & we value expertise that directly aligns with our needs.
Age:
- Maximum age limit for Assistant professor span between 25-45 Years.
- Applicants aged 30-50 Years (relaxable under rules) are eligible to apply for Associate Professor position.
- Maximum age limit for Lecturer span between 23-35 Years.

- Application form can be downloaded from UOG’s website uog.edu.pk. Only Application Forms uploaded on UOG’s website shall only be accepted.
Prepare Required Sets of Documents:
- Depending on the position you are applying for:
- Associate Professor: Submit 04 sets of documents.
- Assistant Professor and Lecturer: Submit 02 sets of documents.
- Each set must include:
- UOG Application Form (downloaded from the website).
- Attested copies of Degrees & Both Sides of the Result Cards/Transcripts/Detail Marks Certificates (DMC). Only verified documents from HEC/Boards will be accepted.
- Experience Certificates, duly verified using the Employment Verification Proforma (where experience is required).
- NOC (if applicable), Domicile & CNIC (Copy of National Identity Card).
- Recent Passport size photographs (attach one with each application form).
- Depending on the position you are applying for:
Application Completeness: Verify that each set of documents is complete and in accordance with the requirements stated. Incomplete applications may be rejected.
Processing Fee:
- Deposit the required processing fee at any branch of Bank of Punjab:
- Rs. 1200/- for BPS-20 positions.
- Rs. 1000/- for BPS-18 & 19 positions.
